Gather Atlanta Mixer on November 4th

Dear Friends of Gather Atlanta,

First, we would like to say thank you to all of you who participated in the first Gather Atlanta event this past June.  Not only do we want to say thanks for your participation, but also for the work you do to foster creativity and innovation among Atlanta’s art communities.  Last month Gather Atlanta won ‘Best Art Event’ in Creative Loafing’s Best of Atlanta issue.  We were so excited to know that Atlanta realizes the importance of collaboration in the arts.

Since the event in June, we have brainstormed about what Gather Atlanta’s future will look like.  After such a positive response from our first event, we feel it is necessary to continue to encourage and facilitate collaboration among Atlanta’s independent arts groups.  Many of you provided feedback that suggested you want an opportunity to work/meet with one another.

In response, we have decided to begin hosting mixers/networking events for Gather Atlanta’s participating organizations.  On Wednesday, November, we will host the first of several such events at MINT Gallery.  The event is free and refreshments will be provided.  The intent is to provide a venue where all of you can begin to dialogue about possible partnerships and collaborations.
