Participant Profiles: See Through Souls and ISP!

See Through Souls (STS) is an annual exhibit and event which features windows created by an array of local and national artists who believe in community. STS opens the exhibit to artists of all kinds. Each artist utilizes a window of choice and is asked to express one’s self onto the window with whatever medium the artist wishes. The window will be for sale at the exhibit reception, so the artist must be willing to part with the window. Proceeds are divided between the artist, venue and a local charitable organization. STS also combines a musical line-up to grace the event. Past musicians and bands include; Batata Doce, Kitty Snyder, Fernandina, The Good Graces, John McNicholas, Chickens and Pigs and a variety of members from local bands Elevado, Pistolero and Slushco. Other business and organizational partners include; Industrial Strength Promotions, Containment Theory Records, Eskimo Kiss Records, Hosea Feed the Hungry Homeless, and Internet Site Promotions. STS mission is to bring together a collective expression of window artists, musicians, venues, businesses and communities. STS wishes to facilitate a platform for social networking, relationship building and a “real good time”, while creating a vehicle to give back to the surrounding community.
